Jamie is a bit of an Irish stereotype in the sense of  "he likes to drink" and "he gets around a lot" but he doesn't quite mind being assumed such so long as it's not used to belittle him. He does enjoy his whiskey and he will pick a fight in a bar for fun, but overall he's a friendly outgoing guy who is true to his word. Cináed and Jacob are his two best friends, Jacob being his only non-Irish friend, generally he hangs out with Cináed, Owen, Seamuss and Coilin, whom are all from Ireland but currently living in Boston Massachusetts. 

Jamie works at a mall as a security guard and he half likes the job, but would prefer a job having to do with designing and building buildings, which is what he studied in collage.
