Haunted/possessed. Their fur is very soft, made of some sort of faux fur; but the body is very uncomfortable to touch, almost like an old heavy sweater that's very prickly and scratchy! There's a bit of a scratchy/raspyness to their voice

Romes zipper opens up into a hellish portal into dimensions unexplored by any mortals. Anyone who can harness these abilities must control where anyone can travel

Smells like old moss and mildew; a dire warning not to get close. Legend says if you stray near their stomach zipper, you'll be sucked into a different time period
