Nubia

Bio

Nubia is the disciple of the Desert Kingdom, and many would consider her to be the strongest disciple. This is due to her fighting style being an extremely effective combination of Earth and Fire Trabea, both of which she seems to have mastered. Practicing two different forms of Trabea alone is rare, but using both to the degree of expertise that she does is unheard of. Even more impressive is that she reached this level of skill through sheer dedication and practice. However, Nubia rarely has to use her power to fight on her kingdom's behalf, as her kingdom is very self-sufficient. Despite this, Nubia is sure not to let herself get rusty, keeping her skills in top shape with regular training sessions. Nubia's people think very highly of her, treating her somewhat like royalty, which is unusual for a disciple. She even has a few people that act as servants, tending to her needs and acting as messengers. Kago, Paula, and the other disciples go to meet her with the hope that her strength will give them the edge they need. Nubia, however, feels they would be better off becoming stronger on their own.

Personality

Due to her strength and status, Nubia comes off as haughty and confident. Nubia knows most kingdoms feel lucky that their disciples don't have to fight her for important resources. She also knows she could get away with taking just about whatever she wants from other kingdoms by beating their disciples in fights, but she sees this as unnecessary and feels no need to antagonize herself. Instead, Nubia sees her strength as something that people should want to achieve, rather than something to be hated or feared. Nubia feels very strongly about self-improvement, believing that people should strive to better themselves through hard work. She is open to challenges from other disciples, and doesn't ask for much from kingdoms when she beats their disciples. When it comes to her own people, Nubia tries to come off as someone strong and reliable that they can look up to. She tries to be fair to her servants, but she also isn't above intimidating them for her own amusement. As Nubia always make sure to remove her gloves before a fight, she has a habit of repeatedly tugging at them when she is displeased, signaling that she could get violent. Though, the worst she's done is lightly scratch a servant with one of her claws.

Powers

Earth Trabea: Nubia has the ability to manipulate the ground and rocks. Due to her home being a desert, she heavily prefers to control sand, and will even break down rocks into sand if necessary. Many of her attacks manifest as geysers that suddenly bursts upwards from beneath her opponent. She's also capable of moving quickly by controlling sand beneath her.

Fire Trabea: Nubia has the ability to manifest and control flames. She's no stranger to long, sweeping blasts of fire, but she's also developed the ability to focus fire into dense orbs that resemble miniature suns. They may not look like much, but she can quickly surround her opponents with them, and they detonate drastically on contact or on her command.

Glass Creation and Control: By perfectly combining sand and intense levels of heat, Nubia is able to create glass from scratch and even manipulate glass she's made. Nubia tends to use this casually, creating small trinkets or jewelry, but she is more than capable of creating sharp shards of glass to use offensively, or trap opponents in glass constructs. She rarely uses glass this way, as she is aware of how dangerous it can be, and feels that few of her opponents even require its use.
