He used to really look up to Endeavor because he was the number two hero and had a fire quirk like him. After he got into U.A. he started hearing all the rumors going around about the pro and pieced together the little hints that Endeavor wasn't actually all that great. Things finally snapped into place when he got to intern with him and things went wrong. He no longer admires him.
