Inventory
Navigation Key - Portable star charts and navigation tools, all in one handy trinket. One of four keys that can start up the 'Estor Vanivil'.
Comms Headpiece - An old-fashioned communication device, hooked up to Renna's right ear. It's a little clunky, but secure.
Equipment
Disruptor Hairpin - +2 on Wisdom saves. Renna's prized hair accessory, doubling as a signal jammer for anyone trying to intercept her communications.
Queen's Dress - +2 Defense, +2 Charisma. A scandalous outfit for most, but its effectiveness in persuasion is nothing to be scoffed at.
Robe of the Faithful - +1 Wisdom. A robe stolen from a long-abandoned ruin. Somehow, it feels as if ancient knowledge flows through its threads.
Twin Blades - Two blades. They are overloaded with energy to become more deadly. Like that, the glowing orange blades crackle with electric power.
Renna Arrace:
Renna Arrace is a deadly warrior from the planet Delta Freiy. Originally training for combat in the Intergalactic Peacekeeping Commission, Renna was sworn into a local rebellion by her closest friend Talena Harani- a rebellion that slowly grew into a deadly government party seeking to force star systems into their way of thinking. This led to a small-scale war that the group ended up surrendering to. Most of the previous rebels were exiled, imprisoned, or killed, based on the severity of their crimes. Renna almost escaped the trials without punishment, yet thanks to an inside job within the rebellion she was caught, branded with the Seal of Harani, and ended up being exiled from the majority of galactic space for the remainder of her life.
Several years later, Renna was found having settled quietly in a small mining planet, far in the depths of space. She was offered certain illegal jobs for an influential man, and given a ship to do so. After the first few jobs, however, Renna was led to a trap, and was told that she was to be killed. Fortunately, she was saved by Korran Voktas, an assassin that was hired to kill Renna's now-deceased employer. Taking the ship she was given, with assassin in tow and companions to be made, Renna would return to the galaxy she was exiled from- ready to dish out her vengeance.
Galaxywide:
Renna was once a commander of the deadly group "Starfall". The leader was Renna's mentor, a woman feared in the galaxy as Venge. Her real name was Talena Harani.
When Starfall was defeated by the Intergalactic Defense Coalition, Talena mysteriously vanished. Renna's goal thus becomes as such, not only to exact vengeance on the powers that exiled her but also to locate Talena.
Bounty Missions:
A mysterious cyborg came up to Renna and asked her to track down three individuals.
The last one down is a mysterious individual known only as the "Wasp".
He is rumored to be hidden away on a ruined planet, the last man to know the secrets of the Ex Machinae.
Estor Vanivil:
Korran Voktas is the current pilot for the Estor Vanivil. Despite trying all she could to refrain from attachments- especially if they are to assassins- Renna ended up falling head over heels for Korran. No one could tell if her clamoring romance for him was another of her ploys or honest love- not even herself. She does not let her infatuation get in the way of her goals, however- even around Korran, she's brutally strong and refuses to let herself be seen as weak. However, currently he is acting more suspicious than usual. His eyes keep darting to the corners of walls and at anything that moves. Renna should prod him for more information.
Sephrai Eiwan is the current mechanic for the Estor Vanivil. Renna kept Sephrai around for three reasons: he has mechanical experience, he helps navigate in the cockpit with Korran, and he's in touch with one of the greatest mechanics she has heard of. However, as time went on, she understood that Sephrai really did show honest loyalty to Renna. Not romantic loyalty, but like a knight to a queen. In turn, she found that she was able to trust in Sephrai's fortitude and physical strength. Presently, he is dutifully tending to the ship. He is complaining about needing to replace his mechanic's tools. Perhaps Renna should stop by the mechanics on the abandoned planet NS-04 to get some new tools for Sephrai.
Patchoulli Nerosa was forced onto Renna's ship by an outer god. In exchange for having Patchoulli on the ship, they would be guaranteed protection from complete disasters, such as planet-eating calamities and plagues and general death. As Renna found out later on, Patchoulli was a well-needed entertainment on the Estor Vanivil. She started to see Patchoulli as a sort of easy to control child, and took advantage of her slight inability to empathise with others. She is currently away from the Estor Vanvil, looking for a mysterious artifact.
Trivia:
Renna's original character concept comes from "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords". Her Star Wars AU counterpart, Darth Manis, calls back to this.
Renna's story is paired with Emil's, as they share similar yet opposite concepts of greed and redemption.
In an in-universe card deck, Renna's card is "The Conquest", shared with Fortinbras as the second most powerful of the deck.
