- The scar on his face is from an old bar fight, where he'd been cut with glass.
- Its canines and other teeth are sharper than average.
- He is almost always wearing some kind of jacket or something over his arms.

RELATIONSHIPS
Met Cessair through Yuri's parents, who he'd been close with for many years. Never really had a good relationship with Yuri, though found himself trying to interact with Cessair as much as he could, seeing as he'd been more than curious about the damaged man and his mind. Despite Cessar's attitude towards him, and even getting hurt in the process, he continued to nudge his way into his life.
After Cessair'd split with Yuri, they slowly became closer, even convincing Cessair to slowly open up to him more. They'd gotten together a few months after Cessair's incident and having to lose his sight, finding comfort in Raphael and vice versa. They weren't really considered as 'boyfriends,' falling more under the category of 'friends with benefits', though either way they eventually split once both parties seemed to realize how unhealthy it was for the both of them.
Coworkers, and though Raphael never really had a positive relationship with any of his coworkers he found August to be one of the more tolerable ones. He considers him a close friend, and often goes to him to talk or for advice. He heavily appreciates August's kindness and company, especially after his relationship with Cessair.
Never told August about his old relationship with Cessair until after they'd split, and after Cessair had found interest in August as well. Is unsure whether Cessair told him or not, though holds a lot of guilt about it.
