"So what do you want from me? What do you want?"
Born in Kyoto to two addicts, Shinigami never knew what it was like to be a wanted child. Harsh words were thrown at him no matter his actions, and soon the family fled from Japan for a new beginning, perhaps their sins wouldn't haunt them in a new home.
Yet throughout his childhood and teen years, Shinigami was faced with the reality of an addictive father and a half-dead mother, and as it turns out, he himself had the lingering desire for sin; addiction ran in the family, it seems. Soon he found himself in a bathroom floor in a bar, sobbing as his veins burned, the blurry shape of a large man rushing to his side.
Soon enough he learned his savior's name - Betzalel - and found himself clinging onto the older man. He learned that Betzalel led a band, and sure enough he joined the frankly unusual group, a runaway, a prostitute, and an addict, all lumped together into a band titled The Ritual. Bloody knuckles turned to late night sheet readings, and perhaps it all seemed too peaceful for the restless Shinigami... suspiciously too peaceful.

- Black tear stains optional.
- Inside of ears should be RED, accompanied by a darker grey.
- Can be drawn with or without clothes, mainly wears leather jackets/pants, and undershirts.
- Jewelry on tail not optional, it can be swapped with different jewelry depending on the outfit or lack there of.

Violent and remote; a harsh and scared individual. Shinigami is mostly bite no bark, usually bottling up his emotions until they ultimately overflow in a wave of aggression and incoherent sobs.

- Was meant to graduate university with a degree in marine biology, wasn't able to finish his last year.
- Only plays the drums to let out his frustrations.
- Cut contact with his father once his mother died, changed his last name to his mother's after her passing.
- Obsessed with body modifications as a way of rebellion against his father.
