First Meeting

Their first meeting....wasn't exactly the best. Maybe Alexander was sick the day Dallas came back to work, maybe they just never really had a reason to interact because Alexander was a new teacher and Dallas was a social worker that was almost always too busy. The moment they met, Alexander had to deal with the feeling of annoyance that his class in the midst of trying to form a relationship with his students was subject to one of those "school talks" about diversity and getting along, just with a wereanimal slant. Alexander was moody about it, angry that he hadn't been consulted; Dallas was grouchy that some newbie didn't seem to understand how things ran. While they remained civil, it was only up until the class finished and left. Alexander made a snarky comment and wound up almost slammed up against a wall by Dallas. He doesn't like to think about how it kind of thrilled him.

Relationship Dynamic

To most people, Alexander and Dallas don't seem like a couple that would work - Alexander is closed off, withdrawn, and prefers quiet, while Dallas is loud, brash, and almost always moving. People don't get how their relationship works and according to Dallas, they don't gotta know how it works. For the two of them, they found a balance in that Dallas isn't always as loud as he appears to be and Alexander can be...not stubborn sometimes. Dallas is surprisingly caring about Alexander's needs, often supporting him when work gets too stressful. Alexander, on the other hand, is very good at helping Dallas relax and maybe not taking the world off his shoulders, but helping him hold onto it. The two of them found exactly what they needed in one another - sometimes that's Dallas in complete control, sometimes that's just a regular couple, sometimes it's just sitting in a cabin forgetting the world exists.
