ADOPTABLES/CUSTOMS TERMS OF SERVICE

Failure to follow TOS will result in user being blacklisted

Section I - Reselling & Trading

1. Client may NOT resell adopt at a higher price UNLESS additional art [such as commissioned art] is added. 
2. Client may trade adopt, if traded, please notify the artist of the new owner if it is sold on any social media other than Toyhouse.

Section II - Alterations

1. If you want to make my designs into a closed species; you will be charged an additional fee of up to $5-10 depending.
2. You may not make my designs into a closed species without permission.
3. Adopts purchased may NOT be aged down and must be kept above 18 years of age.
4. Alterations may be made within reason, as long as its still recognizable.
5. The artist may make small changes upon request of the client; larger changes will be an additional fee.

Section III - Customs

1. When ordering customs please follow the guideline below:

   7. Outfit style, (it can be inspiration from Pinterest or just a general idea of what you'd like. If you don't have any that's ok)

   9. Extra details (anything I missed but you want to add):

   Price will be negotiated with the client

Section IV - Communications & Payment

1. Client MUST reply within 48-72 hours of offering $$ on a character; Ghosting will get you blacklisted.
2. Holds may be made up to one (1) week in advance, or whatever has been negotiated, after which the adopt will be made available for sale again. [There are no refunds if you decide to do half and half and fail to pay the second half after the allotted time and fail to communicate] 
3. Payment Plans may be made for any offers over $150.
4. Bid ends 24/48 hours after last bidder unless specified.

Section V - General

1. No refunds. They are final sale.
2. All adopts are non-commercial. The client may use the character for personal use and the artist must be credited as the creator of the design. Additional fees may be purchased in order to use commercially.
3. Adopts may not be used for any copying/tracing/etc.
4. Upon sale, the full resolution image will be provided to the client through the platform of the artist’s or client's choice.
5. By purchasing an adopt, the client is purchasing the rights to the character and the design. The artist retains all rights to the artwork itself.
6. Adopts purchased may not be used for hate speech, racist propaganda, sexist propaganda, etc. 
7. All terms of service above continue to apply to the adopt. 

Section VI - Bases

1. F2U/P2U Bases may be used for sale of other adopts as long as credit is given. Do NOT claim as your own.
2. Species Bases may NOT be used for anything other than intended species.
