Introduction
❝ Welcome to the Addison Apartments, pretty boy.❞
Violet Asmus is one of the main characters of Sally Face. They are one of Sal's best friends and then later a romantic partner.
Violet is shown to have a very caring personality, being the oldest of her siblings it was only natural for her to pamper the group on every occasion. Somehow always having what they needed in her bag.
She is also a very creative person, however, due to taking care of their siblings they rarely have time to indulge in her hobbies. These hobbies include playing the piano, the drums, and occasionally painting. Ashely is the one who taught her all she knows.

Backstory
Violet is the oldest of 3 siblings wasn't an easy task, especially when something seemed to be wrong with her younger siblings. Her family used to live in a big house, with nannies and their parents being CEOs of a company. When the company when bankrupt, her whole family was forced to move into a 3-bedroom apartment… in Addison Apartments.
The first week they moved into the apartment was the first time she had seen her siblings be so… rowdy. They never slept, they were always running around the house, they were tearing boxes apart and so much more. What was the breaking point for violet was when her nine years old brother lashed out and their two-year-old sister because she didn't want to share her toy. One thing led to another and since his twin sister wanted to defend her brother she… stabbed violet in the eye with a pencil.
Violet screamed bloody murder as the twins giggled, while the toddler went out of the apartment screaming “help!”. Violet didn't want pity or help, her parents taught her to be independent. however, after somewhat seeing Miss Lisa’s worried face as she called an ambulance felt nice. Having someone to care about her. Her parents didn't show up hours later and they had to perform surgery to prevent infection. Either way, she lost her eye. Her parents' response? a get-well-soon gift which was different types of eye patches and a pocket knife for “self-defense.”
In-Game
Violet gets introduced to Sal by Larry who is happy to have another guy their age in the building. Violet is friendly towards Sal letting him know that if he needs anything, she lives in Room 502.
They were stabbed in the back by Sal since the blue-haired couldn’t stand to look at her face while she died. however, she knew of Larry’s plan and what would eventually come over Sal. They let Sal kill them, with one last request. For Sal to hold them in their dying moments. This made Sal notice how bloody his hands were, and how much he’ll miss his beloved but the job needed to be done.
Ideal
If we were to ignore all the in-game death and some of the events, eventually Sal and violet get married. Having three kids, Elio being the oldest, Celeste the middle girl, and Arche being the youngest.

- She also has a prosthetic eye.
- Used to get badly bullied (being called vampire freak or wanna-be pirate)
- When they were teens Violet was taller than Sal (Violet was 5’4 and Sal was 5’2) But when they become adults, Violet stays at 5’4 while Sal grows around 5’7.
- Larry, todd, and ash knew that Violet liked sal but only Larry knew that sal also liked Violet.
- She was solely created for otptober 2022.
- Her favorite tabletop game is Clue and Go.
Relationships
Sal Fisher
Violet always had a soft spot for Sal, it was clear to everyone in the group but they knew that both Sal and Violet were shy and inexperienced when it came to love. Two years after meeting, Violet confessed her love for Sal without telling anybody previously and they ended up dating secretly. They were very hesitant about PDA, but touch is very normal for violet. Often grabbing Sal’s hand to cross the street, softly placing their hand by Sal’s waist while passing, kissing his mask goodbye, and so on. So to the group, this was normal Violet's behavior. Sal, on the other hand, his love language is quality of time and gift giving, more in a penguin love type of way. Gifting Violet one of his guitar picks, new drumsticks, paints, and even some of his sweaters sometimes. This made the group suspicious, first clue was when Violet started to wear Sal’s guitar pick as a necklace. The second clue was when Sal started to show up to their hangouts not only at the same time as Violet but with his hair styled by them. The last straw was when Violet couldn't hang out with them since her little sister got sick. In spite of that Sal showed up late to Larry’s room… with lipstick marks on his mask and neck… the same color Violet usually wears. (They didn't find out until almost two years of them dating.)
Larry Johnson
Before Sal moved to the apartments it used to be just Violet and Larry hanging out in his room. He was the first person Violet told about her crush on Sal. Since then, Larry had been working on getting them together. At the beginning of their friendship, Larry thought Violet was older than him for a while.
Ashley Campbell
Ash and Vi love each other so much platonically. Always having plate dates with their younger siblings, painting together, and simply being best friends. If there was something in Violet's mind, Ashley would be the first one to know and wise versa. Violet was so tempted to follow Ashley after high school to college but she decided she didn't wanna become too attached.
