Vand

Vand is his name. Vand is a half-demon who attained his demonhood by fusing himself with a demon. His stitched horns and bodily scars are the aftermath of his forceful integration with the demon he had invoked. Before becoming a half-demon, Vand had struggled to keep his twisted personality under wraps until he was able to blissfully embrace his madness after merging with a demon. As someone whose origin is human, it is inconceivable for something like this to happen. Vand's profound understanding of demon deconstruction coupled with his neurotic experimentation built him a fearsome and respected reputation in the underworld. From this, Vand took the abilities of the demon. He earned the attention from lesser demons who fear of meeting the same fate as the demon before, as well as the interest of several powerful demons. One demon of high ranking took immense interest in Vand and offered to aid Vand in his climbing of power and status. Vand agrees on the condition that once powerful enough, he will devour one's soul and strip one's power away for his own. Needless to say, the high demon was captivated by Vand's vehemence and delightedly took him under one's wing. Underneath his eyepatch reveals the eye of a different entity, one of greater ranking and power from the previous, from which he gouged out himself. Vand seldom unveils his eyepatch and uses his right eye; leaving many to wonder which demon whose eye fell victim to him, and what unforeseen power he had obtained.
