Penelope grew up in the depths of the sea with four sisters: Orleanna, Cassandra, Aylin, and Marie. Their mother was a marid, and the sisters grew up nearly as lovely as their mother. The six of them grew up largely independent, reliant on only each other. This left Penelope with very little care for others outside of her family, and as such she is often selfish and self-serving. She left home for life as a pirate at age 16, and has finally found a place she truly belongs. She plans on someday becoming a captain, and spends most of her free time with her best friend Aramil.
