Background

• As a young child Mai was very distant from people and as seen has odd
• Mai's mother passed away when hiragi was born so he and his brother were raised by their grandmother 
• Mai's Father was a hunger seeking Scholar and spend most of his time in the Inferno 
• Since his Father was gone and his grandmother mostly watching over Hiragi
• Mai was mentored by -, teaching him everything that he knew about the churches and later developing a crush on him
• At age 9 Mai was curious about how people created contracts with demons so he sneaked his way in his fathers study and found a strange scripture with a bunch of scribbles and decided to try it out
• Marchosias was called out
• Marchosias confused and impressed decided to form a contract with the small child in spite of the churches    
• After being found out he had made a contract Mai was pressured by his father to peruse to become a representative for his ulterior motives
• at age 9 he went was sent off to train 
• Mai not knowing his father would keep a eye on him and Marchosias progress and relationship later on finding out there secret 
• on Mai's 1st mission he was sent to he was ambushed by divinity cult and taken
• later on finding out that his own father was a member of the divinity cult 
• there original plan was to groom Mai and Marchosias into the divinity and to use them but due to Mai's father finding out there relationship the leaders wanted to see just how far it could go 
• Mai spent 11 years in divinity cult locked up and was not allowed to go any were with out supervision 
• due to mai only having interaction with Marchosias there bond with each other got more strong and loving
• after the many tests and trails the divinity cults final plan with Mai was to sacrifice him to try and bring Marchosias to the human world
• Mai walking back to his chamber over heard the divinity cult's plan to sacrifice him so he needed to come up with a plan and fast
• little did Mai know the plan was already in effect Marchosias could no longer communicate with him has one of the cult members placed a seal on him.
• Mai back in his chambers tries telling Marchosias his plans to escape but received no response
• Mai not knowing what to do angrily lashes out on Marchosias has he thought he was trying to mess with him    
• with no answers Mai sets off on his own accord 
• A cult member headed to tell the main head, that everything was set and ready to being the fall with hearing this he sent out everyone to capture/get ready for the sacrifice
• Mai's attempt to escape has he finally reached the main gates he was shocked to find everyone was waiting for him there, without a word nor reaction Mai was quickly arrowed down and was brought to the guillotine
• As Mai kneeled at the guillotine he smiled and mouthed this final command to Marchoasias 
• once beheaded the charm was broken and Marchosias went into a blind Rage killing anything with a heart beat
• after nothing was left alive Marchosias and Mai's mind were split and there was brief moment where the two of them could talk Mai said his final words then soul faded away 

relationships

Marchosias	In Marchosias's mischievous nature he chosen Mai to be his representative because he seemed more withdrawn then the other candidates which made him want to mess with him/curious as to why.March did not make things easy for Mai but Mai knew his game and would not give up and later on beating him.Has time pasted they would get to know each other growing there bond with this Mai ended up growing feeling for March. As a relationship with a human let alone a representative with there demon being taboo they agree to keep it a secret.
-	Mai's mentor growing up, had feeling for him before he met Marchosias
Hiragi	Mai's little brother loves him to death since there father focused more on researching Mai was the one looking after him along with there grandmother. Mai would often make Hiragi toys out of anything he could think of.
The Father	Mai did not know much about his father aside from being a great scholar, Mai tried his best to do as told has he did not want to disappoint him when he was around.Mai's own father betrayed him for a while he blamed himself has he thought he did something wrong until he found out his fathers real motives for his actions
Theoxena	Was training along with him and was also a candidate for Marchosias, would interact with him once in awhile but respected him as a fellow representative

• ONLY has 2 ear piercings on his left ear 

Other/random

• gets mistaken as a girl

• teases Marchosias by calling him a pompom
• has a mini habit of hiding/hugging his hands in his sleeves
