BACKSTORY:

When Heath was just a few weeks old, his mother carried him into a small town called Sage. It was a wet and windy night, and she seemed to be in a great hurry. Smashing against the door of a nearby house, she woke the residents - an old couple - and dropped her baby on their doorstep. Then she took off and flew out of the town.

Raised by the kindly old couple, Heath has no idea why his biological parents were so desperate to get rid of him. He likes to believe they had no bad intentions and were doing it for his own good, but he's been forced to accept that he might never know the truth.

A stern and studious individual, Heath has a mind that absorbs information like a sponge, and he genuinely enjoys learning. However, his social life suffers due to the amount of time he spends working and studying. He only has two friends and makes little effort to talk to anyone else. He tends to be awkward in conversation, either saying very little or blurting out his thoughts with no filter.

Heath hates confrontation, but if pushed far enough, he will explode into a furious rant - his usual way of releasing pent-up anger. Such outbursts tend to leave him immensely embarrassed once he calms down enough to realise what he's doing. Normally, he just gives people hard stares or makes caustic comments if he's displeased with them.

Heath can let loose, but only when he has no obligations to fulfil. He shows contempt towards lazy, unmotivated people and can be unnecessarily harsh with them. He has high standards, both for himself and others. Despite this, he genuinely cares about his friends and always tries to listen and offer advice when they need it.

DESIGN:

Heath is a small dragon with primarily gold scales, green eyes and a fluffy brown mane. He wears glasses that are adapted to fit his snout. He also frequently wears a ball necklace and two earrings.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Gin

One of Heath's friends; they met when he visited Gin's bar one day. They enjoy spending quiet, relaxing time together.

Elaine

Heath's other friend. They've known each other since they were 17. Elaine is a more outgoing person than Heath and is often the one to convince him to take more leisure time.

ABILITIES:

Like all of his species, Heath can shapeshift between dragon and human form at will.
