Flash" Livewire never gives her surname away, and always insists that people call her Flash Livewire or just Flash or Livewire. Although, everyone who's a native to her hometown already knows it. She's really flexible with this "name" she's given herself. She's a photo journalist with emphasize on both parts of the title. She both has the talent to be able to write well and take photos well. She's energetic and always ready to jump into a situation, literally. Flash has a habbit of just not giving a care in the world when it comes down to getting a story. She will not put anyone else's life in danger except her own, which she often puts in harm's way in order to find out the truth. She also often gets in trouble with the low a lot because she willing to do what no one else is willing to do, but the some of the detectives often put up with flash enough to allow her to help on some assigments. She wears a long skirt and long socks to cover up some of the scars she got from stories and scoops. She's honestly had this trait ever since she was a kid. She would make a mess up the family closet, which was very tidy and neat, that was downstairs. After that she would run and jump in, pretending to be an adventurer and be finding lost treasures. She would often cut her legs on the sharp parks on umbrellas and hard plastic storage cases. Some theorize, mainly her mother, that she just had a very high pain tolerance. If that isn't enough proof, then let it be known that Livewire is simpleminded; she prefers not to think of things too hard or too seriously. She likes looking at the big picture and tries not to be bogged down in the details. This is reflected in her writing and its why she's such a good reporter; she tells it like it is so the people get their information in a quick, incisive manner. Livewire comes from a very sporty family that has for generations been on different sports teams, namely the Lightning Strikes. Livewire however has been born with a serious case of asthma and never really was able to participate with sports.

Always having to sit on the sidelines Livewire then spent her time watching her siblings, cousins and family members make amazing maneuvers and take on hard hits. This motivated her to share her family's athletics history. She would submit these stories (if they weren't already covered) to her local magazine, "The Livewire". If a story was already covered she would then rewrite it and turn that in, focusing more on athlete interviews than purple prose and over descriptive words. From there, her reporting moves on from family to friends, and from friends to associates, until she started reporting all sorts of news. Although her journalism career is successful her social life is not. She tends to forget her inside voice and sometimes doesn't but do anything with impulse. When she was younger many teased her for not being the brightest. Discouraged by their comments but also encouraged to be more of herself Livewire decided to no longer care about others opinions of her. Ever. This leads to her not being able to take criticism well and often will write cumbersome editorials about critics she doesn't like. Photography-wise, Livewire likes taking non-related pictures. Her favorite object of her camera is street corners. She feels like they are the "cornerstones of life", no pun intended. Her gloves have a shutter button inside them for rapid fire secret pictures. No one knows where the camera is hidden on her. Most of the time she uses her random photos and is always adding them to her stories. It's the number one critique writers have with her stories because they want to see pictures of football players, not fooseball table shots. This leads to the paper having to occasionally add related pictures to her articles, which always causes Livewire to rage on screaming. They would fire her, but since the town is a big fan of her writing and her family is deeply ingrained into the sports community there most of the time they have to let her have her way. Livewire is not aware of how strong her family influence is and since she prefers not to sweat the small stuff she continues to blatantly ignore her own bad behavior. This then leads her to believe that she's highly influential and will often give advice to those who might not request or need it. So in a way shes a brat, but not the average brat who actively knows where her advantages are. Livewire tends to get in your face a bit if she's left unattended and has no concept of what "personal" is. Of course she never reports scandals but she's not the best of minding her words either. Secrets she holds sometimes come out. Oops.
