A spirit hunter and trained exorcist. Somehow just as skilled as he is incompetent, however his ability to banish evil spirits is to be commended

Originally didn't intend to study the arts of spirit hunting and was rejecting the family tradition, however changed his mind after meeting a strange foreigner at his family shrine when he was a teen. Said foreigner, although limited in his ability to speak Japanese, told Danuja many stories of supernatural phenomena. Such tales as well as what Danuja swears were evil spirits trailing behind the odd man later inspired him to train and become a spirit hunter

Has an overinflated ego, but is very much cowardly when it comes to dealing with other people. Does not handle conflict well and would rather flee from any actual confrontation despite being more than ready to throw around empty threats while drunk (which he is fairly often when not working). Knows how to pick his battles however and often ends up taunting spirits due to knowing that he's able to handle them

Has many connections from his years of working, sometimes acts as an information broker. Occasionally even blackmails people, however does not like the risks that may come from it

Terrible at handling romance, wishes to get a wife someday however any time he tries flirting he gets almost immediately rejected
