Tock (fem-presenting) thinks constantly, but is mute. Tick (masc-presenting) is the one that speaks, but has a very low ability to think independently. It's most like one person existing simultaneously in two bodies, sharing all their thoughts/senses/etc. Using computer comparison, you can think of Tock like a server and Tick as the client.
Tock tends to dress modest and Tick tends to show a bit more skin.
