The result of an experiment by Lab Zero, a research facility affiliated with the PDF (Paldea Defense Force).
A clone of an ancient space warrior simply known as Swallow, though they have little in common apart from their face and body.
They are also known as Terastalizer BUG.

Generally meek, S.W. offers little resistance to most orders given to them from their handlers at Lab Zero or the PDF. While they don’t particularly enjoy being obedient, they’re resigned to their fate and don’t foresee a future where their life can be anything else.
Instead, they find solace in personal expression as a form of rebellion; they attempt to shape their own identity by picking out things they like and basing their personality around those things. However, regardless of what they do, people tend to refer to them as a relation of Swallow. Lab Zero does not actually care about how they go about personalizing themself so long as they continue to follow through with orders.
Their jacket is a source of comfort to them, and they often hide in it whenever they are stuck in an unfavourable situation.
As Terastalizer BUG, they come off as calm and collected until they’re assigned a specific goal. It is hard to shake their focus once they have one; they’ll do anything within reason to achieve it. They are not opposed to teamwork, but some teammates may find them difficult to work with because of their single-mindedness.

Raised from birth by Lab Zero along with a cohort of other experimental beings. As a clone of Swallow, they were trained for combat so that they could be part of the PDF’s Terastalizer force. Having grown up in an abnormal environment, they are quite inexperienced in the mundane.
They have frequent checkups and preventative measures to be in good health. They don't have much of an athletic build and are quite lacking in energy, but the booster energy stored in the zipper slider augments their physical strength and dexterity, making their more powerful when they transform. They still have to do physical training, but most of their combat training is focused on versatility and strategy.

Their transformation pose involves pulling up the slider on their zipper up past their head, while forming a peace sign with their other hand to resemble antennas. The zipper slider is their transformation item, and is imbued with Booster Energy.

• Weak to cold and dislikes frozen foods, as they’re prone to brainfreeze. The sensation reminds them of the trauma of being experimented on (i.e. dissociation, migraines, brain fog). As a child, they wore a headband that served as a kind of security blanket before they obtained their jacket.
• Piercings on the face (dahlia) and left ear (lobe, helix x2). They originally have moles on their face where their dahlias are. The earring is a custom cuff meant to resemble the headset to balance their head out. But since an earring can only be so big, it's not the same size.
• The headgear on their right side is a headset that the Lab and other terastalizers uss to communicate with them. The two lower ‘thorns’ are buttons for receiving and sending voice messages. It can't be removed through normal means as it's an implant, so they are basically on call 24/7. It's waterproof and hard. The top part acts like an antenna and has a tracker. It runs mostly on solar energy and some life energy as a reserve so some portion of S.W.'s daily energy goes into it.
  
• Lives alone in a lab-provided apartment, has packaged meals provided to them in bulk deliveries. It is close to the lab.
  
• S.W. is short for Slither Wing; Swallow also uses the same first and last letter and is named after swallow-tailed moths.
  
• Has pretty sharp canines. Their tail shows more emotion than their face and acts like a dog's tail. They don't mind being touched generally.
• They handwash their coat every 2 weeks and get it professionally cleaned every few months.
• Sleeps on their side in a nest of blankets and pillows.
• Has an interest in tokusatsu fiction, as they see the actors as role models.
