Clarabelle hails from what was once a peaceful world. The once benevolent deity of the world he lived in grew bored, and opened rifts to the deepest pits of the underworld, letting foul creatures loose on the peaceful plains and scenic hills. To adapt, the society of his world became a stark utilitarian industrial fascist hellscape, and he fought as a grunt in a brutal war of attrition against the horrors that assaulted his home. Astral drift has plucked him from his home and cast him astray, and now he comes to on unfamiliar shores, not the peaceful home he once had, nor the brutal drudge he knew. Whether this is his afterlife, or just good luck, he won't question it, and is trying to live the most peaceful life he can.
