Vite is a Sphinx from a small desert country known as Etrica. Her father, Isaias, is one of the rulers of the land known as the Wdjat, but as Vite prefers to remain anonymous to the general public she is rarely seen with him. Her mother died when Vite was 8.Although it may not always seem like it, Vite is a very intelligent young sphinx. She does not know a lot about ponies, but is eager to learn. (This of course also applies to other races such as griffons and changelings.)Vite is very ambitious nor is she afraid to take risks. She can however be very naïve and often trusts others when she shouldn't. While she likes to flirt she rarely shows true affection, nor is she very honest about her more romantic feelings. Vite is very observant and often use this to her advantage.

⚶ A P P E A R A N C E ⚶

Vite is a Pony Sphinx. Sphinxes are a mix between a pony, a big cat, and a bird. Vite shares appearance with a lion more than any of the other big cats.Her tail is different from regular ponies and resembles one of a lion. Instead of hooves, she has paws at the end of each leg. Her mouth is filled with small fangs and her eyes are slithered. On her back is a pair of large eagle-like wings, which she uses to their full potential when hunting. The rest of her body is just like a pony, although she is a bit shorter than the average mare of the same age.Vite often adorns herself in various golden jewelry and never goes anywhere without at least one set of earrings. On her right paw, several magic runic signs called glyphs are tattooed. Each of them has their own meaning as well as function.With her short fur, Vite is able to withstand the warmest weather. Even during summer in Etrica it's short enough to keep her from overheating. Even though its short, Vite's fur is also relatively thick. When the sun goes down the temperature in the desert drops drastically, so the sphinx needs to be able to withstand the cold as well.

⚶ S P E L L S ⚶

Vite knows no regular pony spells but utilizes glyphs with elemental-based magical powers in order to fight. Her confidence lies with the wind glyphs and her sword is enhanced with said glyphs as well. Vite knows how to activate other kinds of glyphs, but cannot make these herself.Glyphs are the Etrican equivalent to magic. Commonly the sphinxes are born with an affinity for one element and will rarely be able to master using glyphs of other elements.

⚶ M I S C ⚶

Please keep in mind that Vite only recently came to Equestria. Every canon RP will alter her view of ponies, either for good or bad. (This of course also applies to other species such as changelings and griffons.)

Current standing with various races:

• Ponies (all three common canon races): Meeting a new pony is a 50/50 gamble for the sphinx. Either they approach her with an open mind and there's a chance of befriending them - or else they give her the cold shoulder, looking down at her for being different, or fleeing in fear upon noticing her fangs and claws.
• Deer: Unlike with ponies, Vite has yet to have any 'successful' encounter with deer. The last one she interacted with falsely accused her of thievery and murder. Not the best first impression.
• Changelings: As changelings are also looked down upon by the equine society, Vite has found she has more in common with the bugs than she initially thought. Unfortunately, she hasn't met a lot of them so far.
