⚔ B I O ⚔
Raven loves helping others and will do nearly anything to help her fellow ponies no matter the risks, however, she tends to have a hard time getting close to and trusting other ponies. If a pony does end up earning her trust they can count on having the mare as a friend for life. Although generally open and kind, Raven has a tendency to let her more cold and prissy side show. This habit is most likely due to her upbringing.
⚔ A P P E A R A N C E ⚔
Raven Sorrel is smaller than the average mare, however, her neck is a tad longer. Her coat is short and silky. Despite her occupation, she strives to keep both her coat and her long mane clean and pretty. She is almost always seen with a braid connecting her bangs to the rest of her hair, which is used for covering up a scar below her ear. Her bright golden eyes are said to be quite infatuating.Her mane is well kept and Raven makes a big deal out of keeping it looking nice and smooth. She really enjoys playing around with it. Although barely noticeable, it is, in fact, dual colored. The majority of it is a dark blue, while the tips turn a brighter blue as they grow out.

⚔ S P E L L S ⚔
As Raven is a unicorn she, of course, knows a variety of spells. All the standard unicorn spells are in her repertoires such as illumination and telekinesis. Uncommon spells Raven has access to includes;
- Quick jump (A lower tier spell than short distance teleportation. Here the user is able to move their body at high speeds but no more than a few meters in any desired direction. The user cannot phase through any objects. Under normal circumstances, Raven is not able to do this more than once or twice a day, and will not use it unless she really needs too.)
- Magic adrenaline shot (Amplifies the uses magic capability for a limited time. Once the effect wears off the user is weak and will likely pass out - depending on how much the unicorn has used their amplified abilities. Does not grant the user any new abilities/spells.)
- Magic Shield (Can be used to block or weaken the impact of both spells and weapons. Size/range is limited to 2 stallions. The larger the shield is, the weaker/thinner it is, so if Raven only uses it to cover herself, it will be a lot more efficient than if she would try to cover herself and somepony else. Cannot be cast directly on others. This means that one of the ponies behind the shield has to be the one who performs the spell. Two or more unicorns performing the same spell can combine their shields to make a larger and/or stronger.
⚔ H O M E ⚔
Raven's home is fairly small from the outside, but the large room in the center makes it appear larger from the inside. Moving past the entry hall you enter a large open room with a very high ceiling. The room is a combination of kitchen, living room and bedroom. The ground floor is a kitchen in one end and living room in the other. Over by the door to the entrance hall, there's a small ladder which leads up to the sleeping loft. The sleeping loft's floor is only so wide it covers a third of the original floor, letting anyone who sits there either enjoy the view of the room below or of the outside world through a large window in the ceiling above. Further in the back of the house are two spare rooms on each side of a small hallway; one which Raven uses as her home office and one is empty but for a guest bed. And at the very end of the previously mentioned hallway is the bathroom.
⚔ B A C K S T O R Y ⚔
Raven grew up in the fancier part Manehattan, living with her parents and her brother. Her brother was her closest friend and she admired him a lot. When Quintin decided to join the guards Raven, of course, decided to do the same. Since Raven was not old enough to join, Quintin would spar with her and teach her the things he was taught. So when Raven finally was old enough to actually enlist herself she was practically already a fully trained Private. Upon the reappearance of the Crystal Empire, Quintin was sent out to investigate the site and keep the ponies there safe from Sombra's potential reappearance. It was here the tragedy occurred; in an attempt to protect one of the crystal ponies from the weakened Sombra's attack, Quintin was struck by the evil unicorn's magic. Shortly after being hit, his entire body became crystalline. Unlike the crystal ponies, Quintin was not able to walk around normally, instead, he ended up practically trapped in a crystal prison.
When the news reached his family it was devastating. Both Raven and her parents did what they could to find a way to undo the spell but without any luck. After about a month they even managed to get the help from one of the alicorn princesses. Even they could not help. It was at this point Raven's parents gave up. If the princesses couldn't do anything to save him, there was no hope for Quintin. Raven did not share this opinion; she still believed there was a way to bring him back somehow. The whole thing, of course, took its toll on the entire family, and especially on Raven's relationship with her parents. Her parents crossed the line when they announced they were going to hold a funeral for Quintin with an empty casket. She was sick and tired of them, and almost instantly moved out of the house to get away.
Quintin's body is now locked away in the crypts below the Royal Guard HQ until Raven finds a way to cure him. Only high ranking officers are allowed to visit him, and of course Raven is as well. At this point in time, Raven now lives on her own in a small house in Canterlot. She cut almost all connection with her parents and has never visited Quintin's grave.
