Azriel/Orion

STORY

Azriel is the co-head of the Surveillance Team, alongside Vera. He's a nervous wreck but takes his job very seriously. He taught himself to direct his negative emotions towards Abnormalities and will assist his employees in the supression of them (using his knives and borrowing ego weapons), often getting destroyed in the process. Once he's rebuilt, he becomes more reckless.
Azriel goes from being a timid pathetic man to an aggressive pathetic man. His main drive is the safety of his employees, as he refuses to be a coward and watch them die. He dislikes X, but feigns respect towards him to avoid conflict.
His Sephirah Meltdown is yet to be designed, but similar to Kali i imagine he would attempt to kill everyone to spare them from being in the facility any longer.
Orion, Azriel's past life, was an assistant scientist at LC during the Cogito experiments. During the Head's raid he had the opportunity to escape, having been in the surveillance room at the time. He could have also saved Sariel, but chose to let her die. He perished by a string of unfortunate luck and his remains were used in the making of Azriel.
After his meltdown he realizes he shouldn't be so reckless when X himself defines what happens in the end. While he doesn't go out of his way to protect anyone, he will offer assistance from a distance.
