Meet Willy Wonka's personal night-shift: a team of Nine Oompa Loompa tasked to handle the big boss' most tedious hours.
When the boss gets up at 3am because of some pinning idea, when the boss spirals in the middle of the night and doesn't sleep for three days,
or even if the boss just needs a cup of hot chocolate, the Night Shift handle it with... Relatively Decent-Ish Results.

Manager
A little different from the others, Clovis is less mischievous, fixated only on getting their work done, but just as prone to singing along to a good song if there's time (although, more able to stay aware during the 'hivemind' symptoms). Testing was always too gruesome a game for their tastes, so instead they rose the ranks, and found their sensibilities worked out well in upper management... apparently too well, considering they were handed one of the most infamous teams in the factory.
Has a tendancy to pause and think with a hand on their chin, before handing out orders like it's nothing. Very capable, even if people often don't listen.
Runner
An Oompa Loompa through and through, although high-energy even to the usual standards. Bouncy, Excitable, ADHD Incarnate, Toodles is often distractable and loud. They always brighten the room, but to some perhaps a little too much- especially when paired with their partner in crime, Tootsie.
Still, they get the work done at the end of the day- even if 'fun' isn't valuable work to Clovis.
Tinkerer
A nervous Oompa Loompa, who often stays quiet, pursing their lips from behind one of the others as they wait for whatever's going to explode to explode. Has a brilliant knack for ideas, but is often far too worried about the outcome- or the big boss' moods- to bring them up.
Often pushed around, but highly respected when it comes to fixing things.
