"Born" in a lab, was an experiment on a dead body. Originally codenamed Z-TV-29, later chose his own name. 

Has memory issues due to birth. Often has flash-memories of islamic imagery / architechture. They're strangely nostalgic to him.

zhis body parts can shift into black matter at random, which makes them inpenetrable but also makes him unable to sense touch or tempurature in those areas. if enough of his body shifts at a time he'll also dissociate and/or gononverbal

though the downside of having temporary partial invincibility is whenever his body is in its "normal" state its very fragile and prone to injury
