Profile

The avatar of a corrupted nature goddess. The moth herself is just a mishmash of spare parts; the actual entity is the fungus that grows inside her body.

Some Details:

Physical
  • Cordylia should never be drawn without the spiny mushrooms that grow around her shoulders and out of her mane!
  • Cordylia is usually seen with a leather waist pack full of reagents, medicines, and poisons.
  • Cordylia may be depicted with larger wings, giving her more moth-like proportions.
    • Her wings may also be drawn solid blue instead of patterned.
  • The darker green spots on Cordylia's body are optional.
  • Cordylia is usually seen carrying a bamboo staff for combat purposes.
  • Cordylia's eyes glow, but not all the time!
    • Feel free to draw her with completely black eyes if you want.
Personality
  • Cordylia takes delight in creeping others out with twitchy, insect-like movements.
  • Cordylia is very self-assured and surly. While she might not fit the definition of a femme fatale in appearance, she most definitely does in personality!
  • Cordylia loves mushrooms, and all the environments in which they tend to grow.
    • She particularly loves swamps.
  • While Cordylia loves all kinds of insects and their kin, she absolutely despises spiders, and will attack them and any creature derived from them on-sight.
  • Cordylia can hold a nasty grudge.
Universe-Specific
  • Cordylia was once a beautiful and benevolent nature goddess, but fell victim to corruption after her chosen species was wiped from existence by another deity.
    • This is why Cordylia doesn't like spiders; the deity that did this is a spider deity of knowledge known as the Tome Weaver.
  • Cordylia's name as a deity is the Plague Prophet. Once upon a time it was the Spring Bloom, but that time is long forgotten.
  • Cordylia assumes this mortal form in order to seek out and communicate with her chosen champions.
    • It is a ritual amongst the insect people of Phylea to gather up parts of corpses to form a new vessel for Cordylia should the old one die.
