Backstory: being a bodyguard for steeljaw he was obviously extremely protective In his alpha,as time went on he developed an attraction to him and would do anything that was asked at the drop off a whim happy to serve steeljaw and the decepticon cause but it didn't last long as steeljaw gave an announcement about himself finding a mate and was planning on becoming neutral for the the femme who was an autobot and starting his new life with her and their unborn sparkling , bloodhound was broken and pissed to be now in charge of watching a extremely large femme let alone her alt mode being a dire wolf  caused his anger to go out of bounds hiring some hitmen he staged an attack making them wear autobot badges and attack the new mother and freshly born infant while he distracted steeljaw making it seem like everything was ok but he didn't know the baby made it only to find her years later and despise her right from the beginning from all those years ago
