Shane was sus af about them at first. Not just cuz he wasn't the only one with a resting bitch face in town anymore but when someone new just pops out of the blue they gotta be running from something. He definitely had been.

So he was already on guard for whoever this new farmer was, not really giving Rowan much of a chance to get close.

During childhood Rowan had only met Ramona a couple of times. Their grandpas co-owned the farm for a short time and they were both technically given it as inheritance. Rowan was the first to move in a couple months before Ramona and had to show her the ropes.

Since the town wasn't prepared for two farmers Rowan and Ramona shared the farmhouse for a while until they had the materials to make a seperate cabin.

The two became quickly inseperable to the point the whole town gossiped they were together LOL

Marnie was the first of the town besides Robin and Lewis to welcome Rowan. A fellow farmer herself she offered help with anything Rowan was unsure of and the hospitality left a big impression on them. It was comforting having her close by in case they got lost.

She advocated for Shane frequently when he wasn’t in earshot and being the nosy aunt she is attempted to further along their relationship subtly.

Rowan was initially just as nervous around her as she was them. Kids naturally drifted towards them though they never understood why but Jas was an outlier. Rowan thought maybe they were doing something wrong to make her shy away.

The more they visited the ranch to buy from Marnie the more she started opening up to them. She started following them around shyly, asking if she could help with their errands and Rowan even started babysitting her the days/nights Marnie and Shane were too busy for one of them to watch over her.

The two's bond was solidified and Rowan would do anything for their future god daughter.

Despite Sebastian's somewhat cold first impression, Rowan and him became fast friends what with their similar aesthetic and lookout on life. Both being smokers Rowan bums cigs off of him all the time and he's nice to be around when they need to not feel pressured to be a person for a bit.

They have so much in common people were confused when they didn’t start dating but it’s one of those “Ew it’d be like dating myself” it’s just too weird LOL

Rowan's whole vibe intrigued Sam and having someone a little closer to him and Seb's age around was an opportunity he wasn't going to miss.

Sam had a lil crush on them before seeing how they acted visiting Shane at work one day and clinched his fist like “Dammit the old man got to them first” (He's got a type sue him)

He got over it pretty quick and they were never the wiser but Sebastian teases him relentlessly for it LOL

Rowan's relationship with Harvey was rocky at first. They hate doctors and avoided his insistance to establish care, what with them being new in town.

They didn't start warming up to him until Ramona showed up and bridged the gap, pushing Rowan to meet Harvey in the middle. Afterwards they create a pretty respectful relationship, Harvey being of the few that really understand Rowan's medical troubles helps them feel not so crazy over it.

After Ramona and Harvey started dating and eventually marry Rowan playfully refers to him as their husband in law. He rolls his eyes but they think it's hilarious.

Being naturally friendly and the local saloon waitress in everyone's business, Emily made it a goal to get to know the new farmer as soon as possible. Rowan admittedly was a little intimidated by her determination but eventually warmed up to her. He admires her mindset and lookout on life.

She gave them a lot of insight on the townspeople to prepare them something they're endlessly grateful for.

Became friends while drinking at the saloon one night. Elliott saw they were drinking alone and sat beside them to introduce himself and keep them company and the two had a great time.

A passing crush for Rowan purely for his Jock and Himbo vibes LOL. They don't hang out very much but he helped them out with physical labor on the farm for a short time before someone else (*wink* Shane *wonk*) took over.

Rowan's previous employer and a nasty one at that. Morris is all smiles but his true personality is thinly veiled and Rowan was subject to it enough times during their time at Joja corp.

Morris's appearance in the valley was almost enough to make Rowan sick. They do their best to avoid him, only making exceptions when visting Shane on his lunch break.
