BACKSTORY:

A celebrity actress, loved the world over.

Both of Kay's parents worked jobs that kept them away from home for long periods. Once she was old enough to be trusted, they tended to leave her alone in the house, asking a neighbour or relative to check on her once a day. Kay entertained herself by watching movies and listening to music.

She was 17 when she got her first taste of the spotlight, taking a role in a local play. After this, she dedicated herself to appearing in as many productions as possible.

A confident, independent woman, Kay likes to go with the flow and experience as much as possible. Not much slows her down and she's always ready to adjust her plans to fit a changing situation. Kay seems almost unwaveringly cheerful, but it's an image she sometimes has to work to maintain. She's able to fake emotions so well that she can fool almost anyone, even people close to her. While this skill is mostly used in her career, she also uses it when dealing with fans (who she doesn't want to see her upset) and the media (who she believes will tear her down if she shows weakness). Kay is an "eastern" style dragon, reflecting in her long, slender body. She has green scales, feathered wings and a flowing mane. Her eyes are yellow. She sometimes wears glasses in this form, but less often than in human form.

Kay can shapeshift between human and dragon form at will.

She also has the ability to size-shift her wings, making them big when she needs to fly, and small when she isn't using them.

TRIVIA:

- The scar on her neck came from a filming accident. She and another dragon were doing a fight scene. Kay wanted it to look authentic, so she told her co-star to actually strike her, but he misjudged his strength and dealt her a serious wound. Despite this, Kay continued with the scene.

- As a teenager, she sung in a pop band called Pink Swan.

- Allergic to fish, but not deathly so.

- Before she hatched, her mother thought she'd be a boy and wanted to name her Jay.

- Along with typical acting, she also occasionally does voice acting.
