Soir was born before well before the rein of King Mal.
In their long life they have only chosen a hero twice. Preferring to simply to lead on those who came to them in search of magic and perhaps even being chosen to bond. They quickly amassed a following of people that waited on them hand and hoof in hopes of proving themself to be worthy of achieving the power that came with bonding with Soir.
Due to the number of people who knew where Soir was at any given time, their capture was quick when the rounding up of Boisbeni began. Their removal from their temple was violent as both Soir and their followers attempted to fight back against the hunters.
Though upon their release, Soir went right back to what they were doing before their capture. Collecting more followers under their watch and bringing their temple back to the glory it once was. This time, Soir is taking more care to be hidden and difficult to find should they be hunted again in the future, allowing only a single attendant to accompany them everywhere.
