"The Lake Guardian"

A large creature chained to the bottom of three ponds connected to each other via underground flooded tunnels. It guard's something sinister but nobody knows specifically, perhaps one of the levels to The Underdark, cursed treasured, or even nothing at all. The beast demand's freedom, howling from the deep dark, only for nobody to hear its cries.
