Ume is a young mantis/spider mix. She is very introverted and not very talkative, although once she knows someone thoroughly and likes her, she usually tells a little about her. Her best and only friend is Orion, a young scorpion, the last of her kind, who lives in GreenPath.
Currently, Ume travels throughout Hollownest looking for the truth about a terrible epidemic that happened, as well as discovering who her real father is and telling her the terrible news that Ume's mother had passed away.

Ume is tall and thin, she has two pairs of arms, two of spiders and two of mantises, which she hides together with her other mantis part with her cape. She often attacks with her mantis arms when she needs it, as well as grabbing onto places. She has a mask that was designed by The Mask Maker to cover her face and her Mantis horns.

Inventory
She knows how to handle the nail since she was little, trained by Midwife, since she was someone close to her mother. She is very good at fighting, she is fast and has good reflexes, she always practices in her spare time. She sometimes attacks with her mantis arms to distract the enemy.

History
She is currently looking for her father to tell him that her mother had passed away, as well as looking for the origin of a rare virus that is spreading throughout Hollownest.

Subheader
She was raised by her mother, who was a spider. Since she was little, she told her daughter, Ume, who was her father and what had happened, her mother did not want Ume to hate mantises, but her rejection of them grew just the same.
SHer mother died saving Ume when she was little from a strange black substance that consumed her completely. From that day on, Ume was raised by a friend of her mother's, The Mask maker. When she grew up enough, she decided to discover where that substance that was gradually spreading throughout the DeepNest came from, in addition to discovering who her father was and telling her what happened.
In it she will meet what would be her future friend, Orion, the last scorpion that remains of her, in addition to that she will discover all of HollowNest and fight against the Lord Mantis, emerging victorious and making sure that they will not kill her for being half-breed.
Trivia
- When the Lord Mantis caught her thanks to rumors of a mixed mantis, they were going to kill her for it, but Ume made a proposition that if she won, they would leave her alive, thus managing to win her proposal.
- She has visited the ancient territory of the scorpions thanks to Orion opening the seal of the place.
