Kiln

Formerly deceased forest spirit given new life when their earthen body was fired into a ceramic form.

Kiln's body is host to multiple cultures of fungus and lichen. The fruiting mushrooms can become overwhelming and need to be removed before the cracks appear from the pressure. 

Thankfully Kiln lives with more harmony with humans than when they were alive. Humans are an active part of maintaining Kiln's health. Excessive mushrooms are removed, plates are reinforced, and cracks are repaired. Over time Kiln has started to grow more and more edible varieties of mushrooms and lichen. They are all too happy to be able to give back to the people who care for them.
