Bio

CW: sexual content and body horror

Worthing is born to a pair of lovers who seemed to care about appearances more than love. He was the only child born to these parents. Even though they did truthfully love one another and their child the way they treated him would say otherwise. He was scrutinized for most of his childhood as every little nitpicking thing was pointed out about him regarding his appearance, stature, and overall his worth was judged heavily. They named him Worthing expecting him to be worthy of said name. He actually pleased their parents at first upon enrolling him in (Azazel's school placeholder) academy. He proved himself worthy of his name at first, being a genuinely good student although his methods of doing so wasn't the most ethical. See now... Worthing suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. He cares more about his own self rather than the needs of others and if that includes manipulating the other students to do his bidding so that he appears worthy to his parents then so be it.

He had a little rivalry with some of the students mainly Mojave for the attention of the teachers. He originally had a bit of an obsession with Yuriel and his vast knowledge on manipulation tactics and did his best to earn his attention as well as the attention of his twin brother Azazel whom he deemed beyond beautiful. He wanted nothing more than to be as mentally capable as Yuriel and as physically beautiful as Azazel. Close to the disappearance of Azazel's brothers he decided to enroll himself in line to Yuriel's experiments in an attempt to become what he truly wanted, although little to his knowledge Yuriel wouldn't be the one giving him what he wanted. Well... Upon the disappearance of Yuriel and Raphael, Worthing would use such situation to convince Azazel to carry out the experiment in his brother's stead. Azazel had all the right motives in his heart but with the disappearances of his brothers weighing heavy on his heart as well as the mental state of Worthing himself, things didn't quite go as planned...

Rather, Worthing began to mutate. His body morphed and changed... His face ripped itself open. His neck ripping in two as his head practically popped off like a blackhead from it's place on his body. Sprouting from his neck and surging across his body was a mass of writhing tentacles that originally would form a disgusting mass on the ground topped by said head from earlier. He wasn't used to a form like this and forming a working body from it was going to take him some time. Things went horribly wrong and rather than being a beautiful genius Worthing became Writhing... just a mass of tentacles wriggling across one another as they attempted to form some semblance of shape. He screamed in agony but wasn't sure if it was out of physical or mental anguish as he stared at himself in the mirror from the countless eyes dotting the tentacles. Terrified of what he'd become he didn't hesitate to hear what Azazel would say let alone what he wanted to do for him. Rather, he immediately attempted to run out of the school, carrying his constellation stone cupped in some sort of arm-like shape which would eventually become his tail.

After running from his own appearance he attempted to find his way home, still struggling to form a sort of human shape but attempting desperately as he ran. People would gasp and scream at him in the street as he ran. Eventually he would find his way home and would be greeted by parents who could barely recognize their own child. Rather than being supportive and loving parents they damned him for disrupting the exquisite appearance of their family name and soiling it as he did his own appearance. They would ultimately end up disowning him entirely and forced him to move out of his home, attempting to rid him of his family name if at all possible.

By the time he'd been officially kicked out of his home and his family he'd figured out how to form a body and was now walking around as a bipedal creature again. He still had some of his old clothing and belongings but wasn't able to take everything from his home. Anything more than a suitcase was too much for him to take... He hid behind a pair of sunglasses and would shy away from people as much as he could when in public. Originally he would hold out in an abandoned building he found that was broken into so was easy access for him. He was determined to survive even if he hated himself for what happened.

Along the way he ended up meeting his old rival from (Azazel's school placeholder) academy, Mojave. Originally she wanted nothing to do with him. Yet, he couldn't help but pester her left and right ever since meeting a familiar face. After giving his story to her honestly... a couple times. She would eventually come to a conclusion that he could be useful in her plans to overthrow Azazel and in turn the entire guardi race. She decided to take him in even though she knew he would really just be insufferable for a while. Ever since he'd been living in her wagon alongside her and tagging along with her and her little schemes. Torque, her glazen, didn't take to him kindly especially since Mojave had decided to use him for well... more than just his story. Rather, he ended up in a stockholm syndrome type situation with her as she designated him her personal sex slave. Even still she would teach him how to take care of himself while in her wagon if for no other reason than to make him less insufferable. He would end up learning about her secret as a murderer and would also be used as a source of magic for her addiction as they lived together. Really, he wanted nothing more than to confront Azazel again and blame him for turning him into such a monster even if well... it really was his fault in the core of it.

Trivia

- Worthing was originally 5'6. He shrunk in the process of being made anew

- his hair snakes are vipers and do contain some sort of venom in their fangs, although it is not nearly as potent as an actual viper's venom and will only make you slightly ill for a short period of time

- his constellation stone isn't actually connected to his body and can be moved freely throughout his tentacles. He just keeps it at the end of his tail because its comfortable there

- the tentacles in his core and of his tail are textured with little bumps but the rest of his body tentacles are not textured

- his body looks like it's made of flesh but really its just body markings not any texture

- his entire body aside from his head is literally made up of just a writhing mass of tentacles. He can morph these tentacles into any shape within reason.

- the eye sockets in his head are empty. He sees using the eyes on his body/snakes

- his head is not connected to his body it is held in place by tentacles.

- When he eats the food is basically teleported to the necessary area for energy consumption

- he originally wore more preppy-looking clothing but after his physical alteration and his residence at Mojave's wagon it's evolved into something more gothic

- not only does he have trauma he needs to work through but he also has narcissistic personality disorder he needs to work through
