My beloved partner, Seymour…
This is so embarrassing, but I instantly had a crush on him the second he came into my humble bakery. I can remember it all clearly too! He was getting some food for his coworkers: two groups of twelve of assorted muffins and a fresh brewed pint of coffee. And he’s come back into the bakery and my heart ever since…
We know almost everything about each other, but he doesn’t talk about his growing up too much. I won’t pry, I can feel it’s a touchy subject. But I hope he knows I’m with him through thick and thin.
My boyfriend’s sister! She doesn’t talk much, but she knows she always has a place here. She knows she can talk to me like a sister!
Now, don’t tell her, but I’m currently cooking up a new dessert inspired by her. Cat shaped cookie sandwiches with raspberry ganache!
My brother's girlfriend. Good luck with him. I hope you know he has the emotional range of a doormat. [She's not very pleased with Seymour... Probably because of typical teenager stuff.]
Tim! My best friend from college and business co-owner! We actually dated for a while after college, but we found out we “clicked” better as good friends. But he’s still my big cuddle bear, in a platonic way of course! We still care for each other a lot.
For our shop, I do all the pastries and he brews and mixes all the drinks! I know I wouldn’t be here without him; we both deal with administration and all that boring stuff as a team. (They’re just that business savvy) He’s also really good with cameras and the social media stuff along with his friend Ballari! Overall a lovely and dependable guy!
He doesn’t like interacting with our customers a lot, so he stays mixing and brewing all day. Except when this one gentleman appears… then he props himself right next to me. Just watching. It’s a little weird to be honest.
Oh Amelianah! Yeah, she and I met in college. We had some classes together and we just really hit it off. After we graduated, we decided to be business partners, and uh… romantic partners as well. That was only a year though. We kinda figured out we worked much better together as good friends and co-owners rather than being “together”-together. Yet we’re closer than ever after all that, which is really nice.
The bakery was more HER idea, although she gives me credit for adding the “café” aspect to the establishment. I don’t do too well with interacting face to face with customers, so she’s kinda become the face of the bakery. Which is fine by me 100%, she’s great with almost any kind of person.
Although this odd guy keeps stopping by. I get weird vibes from him. He hasn’t done anything wrong really, but I always like to be with Ame whenever he appears.
