Hendrix (Ren)

Ren (also known as Hendrix) is a bit of a mystery. Little is known about his background other than that he had a nice childhood, yet experienced abandonment in his later years when he only had just been told his parents had given him up to live with other family members while his siblings, Hazel and Shiki, continued to live with their parents 

He struggled with deep abandonment issues and a sense of betrayal, which has shaped his personality into a very secretive guy. 

He doesn’t take it out on his siblings who he has never met till a few years ago and remains friendly with them

Headcanons: 

• This man will eat anything you give him, he loves food! Maybe a little.. too much.
• Almost never seen without food in his mouth and is very generous with cooking for others and feeding them in general.
• Ren has developed a street smart attitude and a keen eye for survival.
• Ren’s relationship with Shiki is a complex one. The two are technically siblings but for most of their lives, they have never known each other. This, coupled with the abandonment issues both have went through…. has created a mix of both familiarity and distance in their relationship. For sure they can be playful together, but there is also a layer of tension underlying their interactions… since Shiki always wants to be top dog and Ren doesn’t like that.
• He also has a very playful and mischievous side to him. He loves to prank people and have fun, but he also knows when it is time to be serious. He can read the mood of a situation and adjust accordingly
• Ren’s relationship withHazel is natural and comfortable since she is more motherly and protective towards her younger siblings, especially Ren. She feels responsible for keeping her siblings safe and providing a stable home and environment for them. In many ways, she has taken the role of a protective and caring figure in Ren's life, something that he often misses because of his troubled past.
