Vortex is an apex predator who is a danger to all around her, and that's exactly how she likes things to be. She much prefers her own company, and enjoys exploring the waters of the pack's territory by herself. It's often joked that the reason there are no aquatic predators in the area is that Vortex lives there. She doesn't say much to people, but when she does speak she has a sharp tongue and a wicked attitude. She's also incredibly agile, and can leap from one stream to the next without much thought or effort. She supposedly has a soft side, but only one beardog has ever seen it.

Spore The only person that Vortex feels she can relax around. They spend quite a bit of time together in the quiet of the forest. Vortex shares stories of her watery world, and Spore is always more than happy to listen. Vortex wishes sometimes that they could have more physical contact, but it's hard when she's bound to the water.
