Dark Luigi

Dark Luigi is a green predatory pegasus, a species bred during the war with the intent of creating a group-oriented mount with a higher capacity for battle. Unfortunately, the resulting animal was incredibly skittish and prone to aggressive outbursts, and the project was ended. The established bloodlines continue in the hands of rich hobbyists and airship crews, the latter of which find the modified pegasi useful in scouting and search and rescue.

Predatory pegasus are omnivores by design, but Dark Luigi often refuses food that isn't meat. He also often bites, though has rarely caused serious injury. After much trial and error, it is recommended that he be kept at least one empty stall away from other mounts while in the stable bay, as having a neighbor encourages him to try and break through the dividing wall. Adding a muzzle and blinders to standard riding tack is recommended.
