Lux was and will be the universe itself. She is creation, destruction, and everything in between. The current world is her, and was made by her. Every era must come to an end, and so too will she. Lux is kind and benelovent, but believes in balance above all.

After she comes into being, she splits into two halves, Euphoria and Vex, and retreats from the universe. These two cannot do whatever they want with their powers, but must follow the guidelines that Lux sets. Nil is Lux's shadow, and her opposite. Lux tries to bring Nil into the universe and let her be a part of it, but spends time with Nil in her domain as well.

Euphoria is the positive half of what comes after the split. She has power over everything considered good. Due to humanity's perception of her domain, she is rather prideful.

Her role is in balance with Vex's, and neither can overcome the other. Unlike Vex, she dislikes the upper limitations set on her by Lux, but worships her too much to outright say anything. She doesn't understand why the universe must come to an end, and tries to sieze every moment.

Vex is the negative half of what comes after the split. She has power over everything considered bad. She tends to lash out at others if she thinks that they hate her for her domain. She tries to find beauty in destruction, but also brings as few disasters as she can.

Her role is in balance with Euphoria's, and neither can overcome the other. Vex dislikes her role and the fact that she must bring destruction. She wants to resent Lux for giving her power over destruction, but also understands that ultimately her role is necessary.

Nil is Lux's shadow, and her opposite. Just as Lux is space, Nil is the absence of space. Nil is what remains after the universe ends, and before it begins again. She loves watching the beauty of the distant stars. She always waits at the end of the universe for Lux to emerge anew. Sometimes, in certain universes, people manage to make their way into her domain. She keeps everyone who comes to visit her company for as long as she can.
After Lux retreats from the universe, she goes to visit Nil. They sit together and watch the beauty of the universe from the outside, admiring the spirit of the humans.
