In the mountains where spirits live, there is said to be a pond of golden fish that could grant fortune to anyone who ate their flesh. One by one, mortals would go up the mountain with a starving greed and come down fed with the most golden fish they could find.

It is said, that there was, after all of the poaching, a single fish left alone in the pond. It was saved because it's scales, while golden, had imperfections of black blotted on it's body, like ink. Surely, this fish was a bad omen to fortunes if consumed. That fish, flawed, was alone for a very long time.

Who knows how long had passed. Years, decades, aeons. Nevertheless, outliving it's kin for that long in that place, it accumulated a spiritual power and new form as well.

It didnt know it's purpose, so it gave itself one. The first and only thing on its mind- the reason for its loneliness and how to satiate the suffering.

It is said that in the mountains where spirits live, there is a pond that used to be filled with golden fish that could grant fortunes. Now there are no fish, but a beautiful dancer with black tattoos and eyes of gold can be found.

If you have a hunger you can't satiate with average fortune, you should observe the dancer until the very end of their performance. From their palms, gold will spill forth.

...it is true. That now in the mountains where spirits live, there is a pond where a monster lives. It devours anyone with a greedy heart, a hunger that cannot be satiated until they are all gone. It plays tricks with illusions of gold that turn to ash in the hands of the unforgivable.
