-Overconfident leader of a law enforcement group referred to as The Nightwatch. During the evening hours they flood the city with only one goal: Bringing the notorious phantom thief Starlet to justice.

-Archie Angel is literally obsessed with his goal arresting The Starlet, to the point where it's basically his entire personality. He's also not afraid to arm his team with any dangerous weapons necessary to take him down, but somehow, Starlet manages to avoid certain death. Every. Time. 

-That is, until one day Starlet doesn't. While dodging what's being thrown at him, Starlet trips and falls from the rooftop, temporarily killing him as he hits the ground. Archie immediately sends his team in to arrest him, and is shocked to find him without a pulse. 

-Obviously, this is NOT what Archie wanted. He didn't want his one purpose in life to be dead, as cheesy as that sounds. Archie takes Starlet to the hospital, and thankfully, he'd arrived quick enough that doctors were able to revive him. 

-When Archie is finally able to interrogate him, Starlet puts two and two together and realizes that if he had truly been dead, then the demon he'd encountered WAS completely real. (NOTE: By this time humans are already fully aware that demons exist, however, no human had truly interacted with them yet). Archie becomes more interested in the demon intel than Starlet's past thievery (dumbass) and listens to everything he has to say about it. He even lets Starlet go afterwards (DUMBASS) so he could heal easier from his various injuries.

-Archie's common visit to check on Starlet's condition soon become regular hangouts as Starlet heals. They become quite friendly towards each other during the day, but when the moon rises, Starlet is back to stealing and Archie is back to chasing.
