Jorg (full name: Jerzy Parczewski) is a main character in A Ballad About Silesia during the 1950s arc. He’s a twin brother of Richat and older brother of Hajdla and Krzysiek. After the deaths of both his parents, Szczepan and Irena, he takes care of his siblings and their home.
Jorg was born on May 7th, 1933, as a son of Szczepan Parczewski and Irena Parczewska. He grew up in pre-war Giszowiec, and as a kid he often played with Alfred Dytko, the only son of Hanik and Lynka Dytko. After Szczepan’s death during World War 2, Richat and Jorg had to help their mother with house chores, and after Irena died, they were the ones to take care of the family. Currently he’s working in the “Wieczorek” coal mine.
