Phill rolled into New Lamourey at the tender age of 15, after escaping from his childhood home in Jonesville, AL. His reasoning? After years of keeping his magical abilities a secret, he confided in his mother about them - who proceeded to punish him for "learning such awful witchcraft". He skipped town after his aunt agreed to take him in, and helped battle all the legal parts of his escape. Since that day, he has thanked ever lucky start he has for being so fortunate.
Phoenix became a WANDS agent at 20, after seeing a few recruitments fliers around town. He needed the money, and despite knowing about other wizards and necromancers in New Lamourey, he had no clue they had such an impact on the beautiful way his city worked. He's never regretted a single day of his time there since.
Most people say Phoenix is a very warm, caring individual, with a lot of heart and soul. But, get on his wrong side, and he has a temper that rages hotter than a forest fire. His mission in life is to protect those like him from the harm he faced, and so he has taken on many, many apprentices since he became a senior.
