Zacharias is a satyr originating from the twilight path. Not feeling appreciated or of any use within the path at a young age, he decided to leave the red forests and find his way to the plane of eternal light- the sun. There he struggled deeply being an immediate outcast due to his origins, but he managed to land himself in academic circles with enough effort and hard work, where he began studying sun magic. He grew a deep interest in the practice, but was equally intrigued by other human forms of magic as well. This quickly grew into a desire to be one of the few powerful mages in the world- a feat that would certainly grant him recognition from both the path and the sun plane.

Zacharias was not a very kind man, however. His lonesome upbringing caused him to be skittish and generally not very pleasant to be around. His attitude and rather tired demeanour put many people off from socialising with him, and he seemed just fine with that. He had found a growing bitterness in himself as even in the fields he excelled in, he felt underappreciated and unrecognised. And if he was, they often attributed it to his heritage rather than his own personal skill and efforts. Many presumed that as he was born with innate magic, his efforts were not as impressive as the humans born without it.

While not commonly seen, Zacharias does have his soft sides, and at his core he does wish to be a good person that helps others. Unfortunately, much of it is shrouded in his bitter outlook on life, and his ideas that perhaps the only way to find true recognition is to be cutthroat and cruel on his path to recognition as one of the most powerful sorcerers around.
