Maxwell may appear unapproachable at first but when you actually start talking to him, his charm will make you like him. His powers are shadows and illusions of shadows but he can also turn into one unless there is really light etc. Shadows can touch you and hurt you etc. Despite his charm he is working for mafias and other bad companies with Carla just to get good money, don't fall for his lies he is not really trustworthy as he may seem unless you know him on his personal level which is rare and hard. When he uses his powers his arms and fingers turn black, it depends how much he uses his powers thats why he sometimes wears gloves.
