Aizeriel/Aizel

Aizeriel is a sorceress, who managed to get the title of Dark Lord in her world. This comes with as many benefits as it comes with drawbacks. Not that she minds the challenge though.

Personality

Aizeriel is, first and foremost, a very proud person, who takes great pride in not only her position, but also her strength (and those she had to step on to reach both of it). To her going soft on her, taking her lightly, or thinking that she is secretly misunderstood, are like being slapped in the face. She worked hard for all that she has and she does not allow others to make light of it.
She does not care much about others, as long as they leave her be. She likes solitude, seeing as it allows her to further study and refine her skills. If she has to interact with others, which she sadly does, seeing as her position requires her to, she comes off as almost brusque, or very short in her replies, because she wants to get things over with as soon as possible. On top of that she can't stand stupid advice and while she would not think of herself as a genius, but instead a person with curiosity, which helps her learn, she sometimes still thinks that others are very stupid.

History

Aizeriel was born as the daughter of the then reigning Dark Lord and grew up with all the freedom an evil little child could wish for. She could dip her toes in all the magic or combat interests she had interest in and her father provided her with every tome or teacher she asked for. She grew up ambitious and decided to never settle for anything less than the throne of her father, which she finally got when she disposed of him. By now Aizeriel had a firm grasp on darker magics, specifically poison magic, and had dabbled in a few other kinds, which made her a formidable foe. Years on the throne only made her stronger and, to almost all, a far better (or worse, if you are her enemy) Dark Lord than her father had been.

But, as is the fate of all Dark Lords, a group of heroes found her castle and, in a decisive battle, managed to defeat her, while talking something about 'power of friendship'. Yet to Aizeriel's absolute chagrin, they did not kill her - as that would not be befitting of heroes (nevermind all those foes they've slain before) - but instead they sapped her of her power, thinking that she was only a victim of circumstance (she wasn't) and that she only lashed out and would do differently, if given the chance (she wouldn't).

Aizeriel, now reduced to a weaker form of herself, with only rudimentary magic to her name, vowed to take revenge and, taking on the name Aizel and changing her looks as to not tarnish her reputation further, begins her travels to rise to the title of Dark Lord again.
