Corey’s a very straightforward, logical person—they view the world through a lense fuuull of simple, sensible equations and definitions. Discovering that a whole other realm full of ghosts and spirits that supposedly share the ground he walks on exists throws them for a WHIRLWIND!!! He tries to keep his distance from ghost bizz where they can help it, seeing as its both RIDICULOUS and also none of his business (they’ve been lurking about out of sight for a while now and it should STAY THAT WAY! Who KNOWS what could happen if some random alive Kid (totally not Darwin Zhou) was to stick his fingers in the details of the deceased!!!!)
