Osmadiel

• He does have angel wings- but hides them from view. He doesn't like exposing that he is an angel willingly- as he feels like he's betrayed his trust in the eyes of the gods. 

As an angel he walks the fine line between good and sinful, being quite a boundary pusher- but in the end he does have a good heart and pure intentions. He is a charmer, charismatic and quite confident most of the time and he isn't afraid to blurt out his thoughts. He is quite sarcastic, but knows when to take a hint and shut his mouth. He likes to flirt with people in a playful manner, without meaning anything of it, and seems to have quite little grasp of personal space. He seems to find pleasure in a good joke and fooling others. He is a great liar, but prefers to simply skew the truth or be selective about the truths he shares than outright lie to anyone. Despite being rather whimsical and self absorbed at times, his demeanor changes quite a bit around Serafina, due to his regrets in not being there for them when they needed him. He feels a drive to impress them, earn their favor again and thus is extremely loyal and respectful of them and their wishes for him.Upon their rebirth he is extremely protective of them both, to the point of near over-bearing. But his paranoia is not unprecedented, as he is not the only one to notice their reincarnation upon the earth. The evil ones are also aware of this and given the opportunity would gladly remove their threats before they could reach their proper abilities again. Osmadiel worked to hinder them from the inside, using his position to manipulate the odds in favor of his goddess instead to at least keep her safe until she is able to defend herself. Once she and her companion regain some control of their abilities, he abandons the demon front to assist them in person.

He keeps his wings hidden from view, and is a master of keeping his morality ambiguous, this is intentional on his part. His playful attitude of a trickster has dwindled in the years, and though he is still mischievous, he is far more even tempered and reliable than he used to be. Being forced to hurt people in order to maintain his stature while awaiting for thousands of years for his commander and still keeping touch with his loyalty to his beliefs has led him to gain a better control and understanding of how what he does impacts those around him and how to adjust properly to situations. 

Osmadiel fears greatly the thought of failure to those he is adherent to, and in the absence of his kind and his feeling of home and family, he wants only true friendship and feeling again as if he belongs, is important- and valid in his beliefs. Along with his adept mind, he is graced with a very strong sense of hope. When others would flee, and abandon or give up their faith, Osmadiel would not. He would stand strong and become an unexpected major driving force in the goddess' fight to reclaim the world from the evil ones. 

He believes in love, in hope, in a new chance for good and the blossoming of a world without the tragedies left in the wake of the great war. No matter the pain he himself must suffer, finding his something to strive for is worth it, because it is something that effects everyone, and everything he's ever known. 

He missed this truth before, that everything effects everything, and he learned to regret it, and lived to change himself and try to repair what he sees as his own errors despite the number of factors contributing to the truth of it all. Perhaps he would have made no difference in the battles of ages past, but perhaps- he would have, and his impact could have been the factor that changed it all. He does not know the answer to this question, and since he does not know- he assumes he has a mistake to live up to. Despite being trustworthy hidden behind a silver tongue- he does have a hard time trusting others, and especially with letting them in to any personal facet of his life.

Originally an angel who lived by his own rules, only vaguely maintaining his angel status under the goddess and on the verge many times in his youth of descending into demon-kind, he took no role in the great war that ravaged the land, putting the angelic army against the demon hoards. He made no move to defend his goddess, and the commander fell, dooming the world to what the mortals would later refer to as the dark ages of grief, famine, and plague. More important- the angels were taken prisoner, killed, or converted and corrupted into demons after their patron goddess was killed and they were rendered fear-ridden and powerless against the dark ones, ripping apart the easy life and world that Osmadiel knew. Osmadiel did not fall into this category, he was always a very clever angel, one who's wit stood him out from others. He instead pretended to be a demon, loyal to the dark one, and became a prominent soldier for His doings. Or so they thought, in actuality- the fall of the commander was the jolt of reality that Osmadiel needed that strengthened his resolve in his devotion. 

Though originally a troublemaker, losing those who protected him and his people drove Osmadiel to an extreme new loyalty to repair his broken home and make up to his goddess and her companion the failures he projected upon himself for not giving his all to the fight in his youth. When the goddess and her guardian were reincarnated, Osmadiel was the first angel on the front lines to serve under them again. Determined to earn his true spot as an angel again, and prove his regrets had changed him.
