Once a beautiful and prideful dragon, now hexed to ever wander in a feeble, humanoid form, Nathaniel has come a long way from his confusion and anger towards his body and being.

Hatched into the low caste in the kingdom of his birth, Nathaniel's hatred towards the royalty and the nation was twisted and bent to its filthiest form by tongues that only yearned to see him writhe. Wrongly convicted of plotting against the crown, a cursemark was inked into his hide to forever strip him of his true form, that enabled him to soar the skies.

That new, puny form of his was meant to act as entertainment until his inevitable, gory demise - but Nathaniel's ire and spite, that only fattened from the fuel the curse had created, made him impossible to get hold of. Bound to move and work alone in the shadows, the young dragon brought the kingdom to its knees one spark at a time, until he was able to set it ablaze. Believing that everyone had lost their lives in that very fire, Nathaniel fled, and never returned.

His anger, however, never diminished. Even though he was able to establish a passionate following through a lens and a live feed, that rage was something he had to get out somehow. His fury culminated to the pavements of streets at the dead of night, leaving him with wounds that required specialized magic to heal into oblivion. Not being cheap, such remedies bit off a lion's share from his earnings. The rest he mostly wasted on things that weren't necessary, but felt essential for his ego alone.

Slowly even those things began to twist sideways. Nathaniel had fallen head over heels for a certain shifter, and little by little, something started to change between them - even though not by choice from either of them. Those expensive potions he once depleted on his own idiocy, the dragon now had to use on the injuries his Goddess had caused. Neither of them not willing to let go despite everything, it nearly cost his life.

After losing both Caspian and his horns, Nathaniel was forced to wade through the pitch-black waters he had been avoiding for so long. From the moment she found him, Chelsea had all her hands full trying to hold the drake's head above those dark tides.

With the help of the eternal with a blue-marbled hide, however, Nathaniel slowly rose anew. The edges of the blades between his ears got worn out, and dulled. Still, his taste for revenge didn't show any signs of getting satiated.

Until he actually went as far as he had wanted to. Carving a cursemark across the shaman's face that had taken his horns didn't feel the way Nathaniel had envisioned it to. He realized, that violence only created more of its kind. While it wouldn't be easy in the slightest, he had to forgive. It made his ice-cold heart ache.

Yet, Nathaniel helped Elryss erase the scars he had caused. With everything, he became indifferent, but as calm as a serene lake that had nothing to hide. Even though his anger could still unleash itself and flare up under the guise of protectiveness, Chelsea could only be proud of his progress.

That change brought things back to the wingless dragon he had missed so.

While once more endlessly devoted to Caspian romantically, he is as free to wander and live as his lover his. Nathaniel aims to discover things both old and new through his freshly opened eyes. He wants to experience worlds in a way the frigid flame within his chest had never before let him.

Now living off the measly savings he didn't have a chance to burn, Nathaniel leisurely searches for something more sustainable. Adventuring alongside Caspian brings a nice enough amount of gold in, but the dragon would be lying, if he claimed that he didn't yearn back to the luxurious lifestyle he once was able to lead.
