• Experiment 5 has officially begun. Subject is stable and seems to be reacting to chemical 5 very well. No sign of hostility.

• Subject 5, now being shortened to just 5, seems to have had a negative response to the latest strain of chem 5. Dr. Polaris is confident that it is nothing dangerous, only just a reaction. We'll be monitoring it closely for the next week.

• 5 has gained some sentience. The small ball seems to have gain a large pair of white eyes...and a mild appetite. Polaris still insists that this is normal.

• Both 5 and Polaris seem off lately. The doctor has been spending more time in the chamber, conversing with the orb. It's strange. The ball has also grown to the size of a large house cat.

• 5 is acting out lately. They have repeatedly attempted to break their chamber. They would have succeeded if not for their viscous state of•  being. It is quite risky cleaning the stains off the glass.

• That Polaris is a mad man! He has been letting 5 closer to him. It took the entire team and 3 staff members from a different team down the hall to pull 5 off him. They both tried to fight this separation. What's going on?

• I need to get out of here before something happens. That idiot doctor let the specimen attempt to merge again. I'm going to keep an eye on the cameras… this isn't right.

• OH S***, OH S***, OH S***! Polaris has found these logs. I need to start making copies redacting things. Someone needs to know.

• 5 did something to the cameras and Polaris is gone. I can't see anything!

• The cameras are clean again but Polaris is still nowhere to be found. 5 isn't acting right...or looking good for that matter. I can only fear that the chemicals were bad after all...or...Polaris

• We found Polaris’ lab coat. Inside the chamber. Its soaked in an inky, oily substance. What is 5 even made from?!
