Notes:

• Serious, stern, assertive, confident. Takes his responsibilities seriously and feels terrible if he doesn't do as well of a job on something as he wanted to + will try to apologize and make up for it (sometimes too much). 
• Has a morbid/dry humour
• bad habit of just. Staring at ppl. (Especially if he is interested in them). 
• But is friendly + willing to approach creatures and ask how they're doing and mean it genuinely. Just likes to check up on the people around him. Others on the beastguard take note of this and respect/listen to him – he tries to make everyone feel important/involved/listened to. But has no tolerance for slackers tbh.  he will fire/call them out.
• despite small stature, both in primal and fragile form, has a deep and booming voice. this man can and will project.
• when things get super disorganized/bad, will be loud and take charge and make things get done right. If creatures misuse his trust in them (whether in work environment, or his personal life) he is quick to cut them out, and they have to do ALOT to get back on his good side (later development after meeting aug -> Tho if they show remorse and make an effort to change he will often accept them back).
• is generally a quick (and good) judge of character. but often too judgemental tbh.
• used to not being taken seriously bc he's small (and will take advantage of it). has some authority issues tbh LOL, likes to be in control of things, not a fan of getting bossed around. also not afraid to be confrontational and dig up ppls dirty laundry if warranted.
• actions speak louder than words kind of guy. also a brutal honestly mfr, for better but mostly for worse (once again, gets a bit better with this after befriending aug lmao).
• not good at verbally articulating his emotions. so usually avoids that if possible bc it embarrasses him/vulnerability scary/already doesn't like being seen as "weak" bc he's small. (again aug helps him with this damaging mindset)
• Can remain calm in the face of violence and tragedy and think quickly. 

• Is from Daharus but not born into a Royal clan. His clan Is somewhat well-off and has some connections to the royal clans of Daharus, so he was able to get an extra push to join the royal guard. He asserts however that this was mostly due to his own hard-working demeanor and accomplishments (some is).
• Has a younger sister who he is distant with but wishes he was closer (were closer when they were younger and have since drifted apart. maybe natural drifting OR had a fight/event idk). Has a good relationship with his father but a testy one with his mother(<- has rlly high standards for him to an unhealthy degree). All of his direct family (the three previously mentioned) have been able to join Valencia and receive benefits as being a part of that clan through him being on the royal guard.

• Ground magician that specializes in working with metals. Like, liquefying metals to move them how he wishes and then harden them to make them sharp again or whatever idk
  ^^^ all of that for fighting mostly. metal whip/constricting. Also projectile spears. protective armour while fighting.
• Also does general metalworking/blacksmithing. His occupation is more weaponsmaking (Swords, axes, spears, and arrowtips, enchanted with magic to make them stronger than non-magic crafted ones – and to give them special properties)
• but he also likes to make jewelry + cutlery (and later once he befriends August, some tiny metal sculptures). He keeps the art side of it secret for a while, a bit embarrassed by it (<-his mom thinks art is useless and dumb).
